Oh Leah! May GOD help you all. I am so terribly, terribly sorry. Alexis is beautiful and I wish that I could have met her. I know you are hurting and I wish that I could share some of your pain. I don't know what to do for you. Know that you are not alone, and know that it is alright for you to "hurt" as long as you need. I know it feels like the pain will last forever and in a way it does, but lean on those who are closest to you. If there is anything that I can do for you; anything at all, call on me. Again, my hear hurts for you so very much. You will be forever in my heart. Love to all of you, Shelley Z. Welch

Lex was often at our home when the house was full of kiddos; her sweet spirit, beaming smile, & angel-like countenance was like a breath of fresh air. We are so very sorry about the loss of Alexis. It is never easy to lose a loved one, and as Christians, we know this is not the end for her but the beginning. God in all his love, grace, and wisdom has a wonderful place prepared for us. Lex was able to go a little ahead of you, but will be there to greet you one day. May The Prince of Peace wrap His loving arms around you at this time to comfort you and give you the strength you need. In Him,

Mrs. Leah
I am going to miss Lex so much. We became so close at work, and she was like my little sister. I enjoyed her goofiness, and how she always finished my sentences when I sang a song. "Lean on me" was the last song we sang together. I will always remember her smile and her beauty. She's an Angel that will be deeply missed.

My heart has been so heavy with sadness since I heard this tragic news. I have such fond memories of Alexis from Nebbie Williams and all the memories just seem to make me smile. She brought joy to my day many a time in the clinic with her beautiful smile and her engaging personality. Leah & Scotty and families~
No words can mend the sorrow you are feeling right now. But please know that God will give you peace. Trust in his guidance and love. My heart breaks for you at this time. Children are precious pieces of our own souls and no parent should have to go through what is happening to you now. Please know that you are loved and have many friends and family that are here for you and praying for you. Although Alexis lived a short life she touched many people and lived it abundantly. Everyone that knew her was blessed by just that (knowing her).
May God Bless you and help you find your peace!

Alexis was a very beautiful and fun loving friend. As we grew older together not only was she always there for laughs and giggles but as a really good friend who cared.
I think the last camping trip we all took with each other we were about 12 years old, when i was 18 she was 17 we discovered we were on the same Cheer Team after all these years of not seeing other it took us about our 3rd or 4th practice to realize who each other were, from that day on for the rest of that year we were just as close with each other as we always have been since we were little. I had so much fun cheering with her that year and sharing our last memories together.
My prayers are with you all that are close and dear to her; he will lift you up and carry you through this. May faith be with you !

I can cannot even pretend to know how you feel or what you are going through at this time. But, what I do know is that you had a beautiful, bright daughter that I never saw without a smile on her face.
I am Kelsey Hagan's mom and Alexis spent a good deal of time with us while the girls were in high school. To all: Our prayers are with you and your family and friends. My heart is deeply saddened by this event. Remember God's Word at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where it says that death with be brought to nothing. And the Bible also gives us a promise at Revelation 21:4 where God promises that he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry or pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. We love you and if you need anything at all, please call us. 903-413-4344

Alexis was beautiful, and a blessing to all. Having attended school with my son, he described Alexis as admired, trusted, and respected by her peers. Someone you just enjoyed being around, and always ready to help or provide assistance when needed. Leah, our prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. Her memories and love will live forever in our hearts as well.

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your daughter. Alexis was in my Anatomy class her senior year. She always had such a beautiful smile on her face and was such a joy to have in my class. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I went to elementary school with Alexis in 2nd grade and 5th grade. I am not sure if y'all remember me but we were best friends when we were little. I remember coming back to Nebbie after being gone for two years and seeing her out Leah's window yelling at me to come see her and it turned out we had the same teacher, Mrs. Stewart. I am so sorry for your loss. Your daughter was such a good friend to me and I have so many amazing memories with her that I will always remember, like going to watch cheer competitions in Dallas or Margaritas and planning on karaoking but never having enough courage to get up there and sing. I pray that God will bring you peace in your hard times knowing how loved Lex was by everyone including myself. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the services because I go to school in Mississippi. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Jessica Seay

The loss of a child is a parent's worst nightmare. Although I did not know your daughter, my daughter, Kelsey did. When I told her the news, she said, "Alexis was such a happy girl... she was nice to everyone.. everybody loved Alexis". May you find comfort in knowing that Alexis touched many people's hearts and may God provide you with the strength needed to move forward... one moment at a time. In His Name, Kathy Adams mother of Kelsey / RHS Senior '08

I work at MBI with Stephanie, and wanted to let y'all know how sorry I am for your loss. Stephanie constantly talked about her cousin and how much fun they had, and I know she is missing her greatly. I will keep you and all of your family in my prayers. Please know that friends and family are keeping prayers going for y'all and angels are watching over you.

Dear Gentzler family, No one knows why these things happen, but God chose this special angel, and I will always remember her smile. Lex was my daughter's (Jamie) little sis in cheerleading and this has really tugged at my heart strings and for the family. Our prayers are with you. God bless.
