Sophie Sophie Ariana Hernandez, 12, of Royse City, TX, passed from this life on June 11,2022. Sophie was born February 11, 2010, in Carrollton, TX, to Angel Hernandez and Karina Hernandez. Sophie was in sixth grade going on to seventh grade at Baley Middle School, where she was part of the band playing the tuba. She enjoyed playing volleyball with her team, Just Dig It, baking all types of desserts, making bracelets to sell, and loved her dog Barkbara. She had a heart of gold, caring for all those around her and always complimenting them. From a young age, her curiosity and outgoing personality captured the hearts of everyone who would meet her. Although she has left the earth too soon, she has left so many wonderful memories that will be deeply cherished by her family and friends. Sophie is survived by her parents, Angel and Karina Hernandez and her older sister Neida Hernandez. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, July 15, 2022, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1305 Damascus Road, Rockwall. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday afternoon at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location from 3:00 to 8:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. Le encantaba jugar voleibol con su equipo Just Dig It, cocinar todos tipos de postres , hacer pulseras para vender, y amaba a su perrita Barkbara. Tenía un corazón de oro, siempre procurando por los demás. Desde más chica, su curiosidad y su personalidad extrovertida capturaba los corazones de todos que la llegaron a conocer. Aunque se nos ha ido muy pronto, nos a dejado llenos de lindos recuerdos que serán apreciados por siempre. Sophie es sobrevivida por sus padres, Angel y Karina Hernandez y hermana mayor Neida Hernandez. Matteo Angel Matteo Hernandez, 3, of Royse City, TX, passed from this life on June 11, 2022. Matteo was born February 9, 2019, in Rockwall, TX, to Angel Hernandez and Karina Hernandez. Matteo was an energetic kid full of life who loved playing with fire trucks and putting out fires, playing outside, riding the 4-wheeler, and watching cartoons on YouTube. He had a fearless and inquisitive personality and was such a happy baby who stole the hearts of all his family. His sisters always looked out for him and loved him so much. The loss of this sweet boy has left a void that can never be filled. He has left all his family with so many memories and funny stories that will be held dear to our hearts. Matteo is survived by his parents, Angel and Karina Hernandez and his older sister Neida Hernandez. Matteo era un niño energético y lleno de vida. Le encantaba jugar con juguetes de camiones de bomberos y apagar fuegos, jugar afuera, andar en la cautrimoto, y ver caricaturas en YouTube. Siempre listo para descubrir el mundo y con mucha audacia, era un bebé feliz que robó el corazón de toda su familia. Sus hermanas siempre cuidaban y procuraban por él. La pérdida de nuestro niño dulce a dejado un gran vacío que nunca podrá ser llenado. Matteo nos ha dejado muchas memorias y cuentos que dan risa al recordar que serán apreciados de todo corazón.
