Rogelio Rodriguez, age 63, and long-time resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away on February 14, 2021. He was born August 16, 1957, in Mexico to Vicenta Martinez Ruiz and Delfino Rodriguez Ortiz. Rogelio was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall. He enjoyed music and sports, especially football. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite. Rogelio loved to tell stories and shop flea markets. His family was very important to him, and he loved spending time with his grandkids. He will be deeply missed. Rogelio is survived by his loving wife: Maria Rodriguez Castillo; children: Rogelio Jr Rodriguez, Rosalinda Rodriguez, Cristina Carmona, Erika Rodriguez, Edith Rodriguez; grandchildren: Sophia Carmona, Maritza Carmona, Carlos Carmona, Alexander Carmona, Leah Santillan, Samantha Santillan, Alexa Santillan, Abdiel Vargas, Ethan Ortega, Leyla Ortega, Sofia Ortega, and Lorinee Ortega; Sister; Maria Rosa Rodriguez De Guitron; Brother; Delfino Rodriguez. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Tony. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service beginning at 9:00am. El fue nacido en Agosto 16 de 1957 en Mexico de sus padres Vicenta Martínez Ruiz y Delfino Rodríguez Ortiz. Rogelio era un miembro de Our Lady of the Lake Iglesia Católica en Rockwall. El disfrutaba la música, deportes, en especial el Fútbol Americano, fue un fanático de los Dallas Cowboys, Rogelio le encantaba contar historias y disfrutaba salir a de compras a las Pulgas, su familia siempre fue lo más importante para el y amo compartir su tiempo con sus nietos. Será profundamente extrañado Rogelio se sobrevive por su amada esposa Maria Rodriguez Castillo y sus hijos y hijas Rogelio Jr Rodriguez, Rosalinda Rodriguez, Cristina Carmona, Erika Rodriguez, Edith Rodriguez; sus nietos: Sophia Carmona, Maritza Carmona, Carlos Carmona, Alexander Carmona, Leah Santillan, Samantha Santillan, Alexa Santillan, Abdiel Vargas, Ethan Ortega, Leyla Ortega, Sofia Ortega, Lorinee Ortega; Hermana; María Rosa Rodriguez De Guitron; Hermano; Delfino Rodriguez. Servicios de Funeral serán llevándolos acabo el Jueves 25 de Febrero del 2021 a las 11:00am en Our Lady at the Lake Catholic Church oficiado por el Padre Tony. El entierro seguirá en Rest Haven Memorial Park. Una reunión de Familia y Amigos se llevará acabo antes del Servicio empezando a las 9:00am.
