Mary Ellen Rossbach “MeMe” Born January 27, 1946, in Newark, NJ, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 18, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. Mary Ellen was a born-again Christian and attended church and bible studies with her family. Family was very important to her and she also had a special relationship with her nieces, nephews, and her daughter’s childhood friend Valerie Skrivanek. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Robert Smith and Helen Ryan Smith, and her sister Karen Niedermeier. Mary Ellen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Arthur Rossbach; daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Dan Walsh; daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn and Ray Bunyard; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Lonnie Townsend; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sandy Ryan; grandchildren, Devin Rossbach-Rawls and wife Lauren, and Trevor and Brayden Bunyard; great-grandchildren, Elena and Jayden Rawls; and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, Texas 75087.
