Lenora Jewel (Massey) Elliott, age 94, beloved mother, wife, Granny, and Great-Gran, passed away June 8, 2022. She was born December 1, 1927, in Wylie, TX, to Sadie Pearl (Hampton) and Bud Massey. She was a 75-year resident of Dallas, but she loved to reminisce about her youth in Blue Ridge, Farmersville, and Rockwall, TX. Lenora loved the Lord, singing hymns, and her family and friends. Her giving nature, humor, and homemade treats will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lenora is survived by her son: Charles Wayne Elliott and wife Kim; daughter-in-law: Sherry (Flanagan) Elliott, grandchildren: Michael Chad Elliott and wife Elaine, Lori Ann Elliott and husband Barrett Christie, and Curtis Glenn Elliott; great-grandchild: Chaney Danielle Elliott; and brother: Bobby Joe Massey and wife Nita. She was preceded in death by her son: Billy Ray; husband: Glenn; parents; and siblings: JW, Harold, Carlton, and Effie. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, TX. Interment to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering for family and friends will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, June 13, 2022, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
