Judy Kay Ashley, age 59, a 47-year resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away May 5, 2022. She was born September 11, 1962, in Dallas, TX, to Scottie Hays Ashley and Bertha Mae (Blevins) Ashley. Judy was strong, brave, hard-working and determined. She was generous and very caring. She loved her family and was an avid dog lover. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Judy is survived by her son: Chris Ashley and his fiancé Richard Speed. Siblings: Jo Byrd, Judy Clark and husband Ben, Debbie Ashley, and Susan Fields and husband Wayne, and brother-in-law Bobby Carter Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dogs: Bebe, Mimi, and Lucy. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held 3:00pm Friday, May 13, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home- Rockwall location.
