    Heather Pope

    January 31, 1981 - August 4, 2010

Heather Pope, age 29 of Royse City, TX, passed away August 4, 2010. She was born January 31, 1981 in Dallas, TX. Heather was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her father: Randall Pope; mother: Carla (Beheler) Pope; sister: Christi Pope, all of Royse City, TX; special cousin: Kendall Beheler of Royse City, TX; maternal grandparents: Wayne & Frances Beheler of Royse City, TX; aunts: Paula Edge & husband Gary of Royse City, TX, Pam Geer & husband Jamie of Burleson, TX, and Judy Skow & husband David of Plano, TX; uncles: Richard Pope & wife Annette of Princeton, Dale Hanks of Garland, TX, and Hugh Ben Pope of Princeton, TX; cousins: Jill DeLeon, Lindsey and Chris Page, Jason Jennifer and Brittney Geer, Jimmy and Jerry Hanks, and Leslie and Ashley Pope; and special friend: Larry Wright. If you did not know Heather, you would have loved her ability to never meet a stranger and the way she liked everyone for who they were. She would light up any room she entered and always had something to say that would make everyone laugh. Heather was the spark in our family and while she is no long with us, the spark she left lives on in each of our hearts. What a gift she was to each of us and our lives are forever changed now that she is no longer with us. Heather touched every one of us in her own special way and we love her. Her parents were proud to call her their daughter. We all have a peace that Heather is in a far better place now, and that she was welcomed with open arms by our family that was awaiting her arrival. She can provide the happiness to them that she gave to us. What a gift heaven received today. Rest in peace, dear one, and know that you are loved. Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Monday, August 9, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 900 Pullen St., Royse City, TX, with Pastor Chad Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Royse City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Crime Victims Compensation, PO Box 12198, Austin, TX 78711-2198.
