Dolores Ann (Siler) Aguilar, age 64, of Garland, TX, passed away July 13, 2022. She was born July 15, 1957, in Raleigh, NC, to Barbara Irene (Johnson) and Ed Lindsey Siler. She fought a courageous battle with cancer with her husband by her side as she entered her new life with her Savior. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Dolores was a loving wife, a caring mother, an incredible friend, a passionate teacher, an adventurer, an avid traveler and camper. She had an intensity to love her family and friends with the love of the Lord that included all her fur babies. Everyone who knew Dolores knew she was special and she was adored by everyone she met. She taught nursing with a Master’s Degree at the University of Texas in Arlington with passion and has left her imprint for generations to come. Dolores is survived by her loving husband: Oswaldo Aguilar; children: Jeovany Aguilar and wife Ashley, and Kijara Aguilar; parents: Ed and Barbara Siler; sister: Janet Brady and husband Willy; nieces: Kelly Dupont and Jennifer Brady; nephew: Zac Siler; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother: Robert Siler. A night of remembrance will be held from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
