    Anthony "Terry" Joseph Monjure IV

    March 20, 1948 - March 22, 2022

Anthony “Terry” Joseph Monjure IV, age 74, passed away on March 22, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home in Royse City, TX. Terry was born in New Orleans, LA, to Miriam and Anthony Joseph Monjure III. Terry was a devoted husband, a loving father, a loyal big brother, and the best Papa his grandson could ask for. Terry grew up in New Orleans, where he became a computer programmer for Chilton Corporation. This career path would bring him to Dallas, Texas to stay. He worked at Chilton Corporation for 22 years and finished the rest of his career at BC/BS for 25 years. After his retirement, he took on another career as the owner of Thunder Bird Roller Rink in Plano, TX. He loved to work, play games on the computer, spend time with his family and eat crawfish anytime he could. Anyone who ever met him liked him and would comment on what a nice, kind man he was. Terry will be sorely missed by so many. He is survived by his wife Tammy Coble Monjure, son A.J. Monjure V, his fiancé Sonya Gowens, son Timothy M. Monjure, daughter in law Tracey Monjure, grandson Tyler Monjure, and stepson Cliff Coble, all of Dallas, TX, and sister Darlene Monjure Delesdernier of Hot Springs, AK. He is preceded in death by his father Anthony J Monjure III, his mother Miriam Breecher Monjure, and his beloved beagle Lucy. A visitation will be held, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall location 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX 75087. A Celebration of Life will be held, Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 1:00pm at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall location 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX 75087.
