Beauty. Peace. Remembrance.

Located in Rockwall, Texas, Rest Haven Memorial Park began as a labor of love and family commitment to quality. Dewayne Cain, a Rockwall native, dreamed of a perpetual care cemetery that would meet the needs of his hometown friends in a very personal way. He wanted a memorial park to have its beginning amidst the natural beauty he had long enjoyed and hoped would become a source of inspiration for future generations. In 1970, Rest Haven Memorial Park became a reality. Every garden was thoughtfully planned, landscaped, and has been carefully maintained. Developing an initial 12. 5 acres, Rest Haven can one day expand to over 100 acres.

Rest Haven Memorial Park joins in the pursuit of giving you options. Family estates, private estate mausoleums, traditional ground burial, mausoleum spaces, lawn crypts, lovely urn gardens, and columbarium spaces are among the choices available. Each of these may be purchased prior to need to insure your choice of location and best value for you and your family.

The Attention is Personal. The Service is Complete.

Our family service counselors are committed to providing complete personal attention to your needs. They will help you choose the form of remembrance that is most appropriate for you and your family and guide you through the numerous personalization options.

Choosing the Appropriate Monument.

While the majority of Rest Haven gardens offer memorialization through enduring and beautiful flat bronze markers, the “Garden of Peace” accommodates traditional upright granite monuments. There are numerous options available for each type of monument, and prices will vary depending on your choice of size, color, and lettering.

Additionally, Rest Haven Memorial Park offers family estate lots. These feature lots are exclusively landscaped and offer traditional ground burial with a family upright monument and flat bronze markers for memorialization. Private family estate mausoleums are also available.

All three of our chapels include samples of available monuments, making it easy and convenient for you to meet with our family service counselors to select and design a unique and everlasting tribute to your loved one. It would be our privilege to assist you in the conceptual design and purchase of your unique memorial.

Saying it With Flowers.

Fresh flowers may be placed in the memorial vases in our park at any time, and will be removed once they lose their beauty. The park maintains a schedule of special days when artificial flowers may be placed. Please Click here for flower guidelines.
