Carley, I was unable to cover my shift. I'm here at work and was  hoping I still might get away, but I'm not going to be able to. Know you are in my thoughts. I really wish I could be there, though. Love, Emily

Carley, Lance and Londyn

My only wish is that I could be there with you today and give a big hug - however you know you are loved and my heart will be there with you. You are a trooper to have gone thru all this for "little peanut". You know he will always love you for holding on as long as you did. It;s sad when we have a choice and it;s suddenly taken away from us. But know that Parks is in Gods hands and the arms of Great Aunt Kari. She will spoil him like she did all her other nieces and nephews. My love to you all. Great Grandma Poops and Grandpa.

Elaine and Family,

I am so very sorry for your loss of such a sweet, precious boy.  May you feel God's arms around each and every one of you from this point forward but rest in the knowledge that God is holding this special child in his arms right now.  He had to have been very special for God to bring him home so quickly.  My prayers will continue to be with all of you.  God bless.

Carley, You have soooo been in my thoughts, my prayers.... It was difficult for me to be a nurse on Tuesday when I was grieving for you and Parks, too. Parks was loved by many. He always will be! He will always be in our hearts, like I told you, so you didn't give him up on the day of his death---you couldn't ---you loved him, and he knows that. He'll never forget his mother sang to him as he went to our Lord's arms. He is always in your heart, always your son, never forgotten. You are a precious soul that I will never forget and I will always consider it an honor to have known you, cared for you and Parks. I, too, thought you and he would endure it all! You became my friend through all this, and I treasure my friends. I'm going to try to get the end of my shift covered Sat so I can honor you all. Love you bunches!!! Emily
