William Arthur Barnes, age 90 of Rowlett, TX, passed away March 3, 2010. He was born September 3, 1919, in Nortonville, KY, to Arthur and Frankie (Crick) Barnes. Mr. Barnes served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He lived many years in Detroit, MI, before moving to Texas.
Mr. Barnes is survived by daughter: Julie Richter; sons: William Barnes Jr., Gerald Edward Barnes and James Kevin Barnes; Grandchildren: Michelle Lynn Zurek, John Richter, Cara Barnes, Jeffrey Barnes, Andrew Barnes and Eric Barnes; great-grandchild: Noah Zurek; brothers: David Barnes and James Barnes; sisters: Ruby McIntosh, Myrtle Mae Cook and Molly Blaine. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jane Kinzer Barnes and brother Robert Barnes.
Services are pending at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. |
