John E.  Gramentine

 

John E. Gramentine, age 77 of Rockwall, TX, passed away December 30, 2009. He was born April 21, 1932, in Pittsburgh, PA, to John H. & Dorothy (Erlanson) Gramentine. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked sales in the jewelry industry, was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Pittsburgh and a member of First United Methodist Church in Rockwall, TX.

 

John is survived by his wife of 48 years: Susan (Scott) Gramentine of Rockwall, TX; sons: John S. Gramentine of Arlington, TX, and James D. Gramentine & wife Allison of Midland, TX; grandson: John Ross Gramentine; granddaughters: Kate, Maggie and Sydney Gramentine; sister: Joanne Kelley & husband Stephen of Charlotte, NC; and nephew: Matthew Kelley of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with John Albritton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, Ste. 700 South Tower, 8585 N. Stemmons, Dallas, TX 75247.
