Ed Miller, age 75 of Rockwall, TX, passed away January 2, 2010. He was born May 26, 1934 in Chicago, IL, to Edwin Booth & Irene (Jay) Miller. Ed proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a supervisor from AT&T in 1987 in Garden Grove, CA. Ed was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rockwall, TX.
He is survived by his wife: Karen Dorothy (Sorensen) Miller of Rockwall, TX; daughter: Susan Kraft & husband Steven of Royse City, TX; son: Scott Miller & wife Marita of Fate, TX; grandchildren: Jason, Brian, Tyler, Lindsay, Paris and Olivia; and great grandchild: Alexis. Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Cheryl Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:00am, prior to the service. |
