Doug, Ann, Bryan and Ben,
Our very deepest sympathy to each of you for your tremendous loss. Sammy was a beautiful child and brought so much joy into the lives of others she touched. Sadly, the scripture is true that states we are victims of "time and unforeseen occurrence befalling us all" and how much that hurts loved ones, particularly when it comes in the form of a tragedy. Jack and I remember you in our prayers and hope that your faith will help you to continue to rely on our heavenly Father to find the ability to cope just one day at a time right now. Remember, too, all those around you who are there for you. And most of all, don't forget we love you.

Ashtyn and our family send our deepest condolences for your unfathomable loss. Your sweet little heavenly angel will be greatly missed at "Ms/Momma Sadi's" house on a daily basis.
Lean not on your own understanding but rather on HIS love and allow this tragedy to somehow stregthen your faith in HIM and unconditional love for each other.

To The Knostman Family,
My daughter goes to school with you son and told me of you family's unfathomable loss. I am so touched and devastated for your family. God uses tragedy and heartbreak to change us for the better. He does not let us suffer for nothing, believe that something great will come from this, the light is always brightest in the darkest places. Your tragedy has made me rethink about getting a pool (my husband and I were just talking about it last week) and have now discussed extra saftey precautions we weren't considering before if we do. So perhaps your beautiful ray of sunshine is already saving others, making people think about how fragile life is, reminding us that life is a gift, not a promise.
Grieve as long and as deeply as you need to, you don't owe anything to anyone, you don't need to be strong, you don't need to understand, all you need is love and faith. May God wrap his arms around all of you and hold you close as you begin your journey towards healing.

Words cannot express the devestating grief I feel over the tragic loss of your precious Sammy. It seems only yesterday when you announced your new, soon to be born addition at Shannon. You are an incredible, nuturing family. Brian and Ben were some of my best and favorite students... so responsible, compassionate, and caring for others. Know my love and prayers are with you now, and in the days, weeks, and months which lie ahead.
