Suzanne Cameron Mosley, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was called to heaven on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 after battling cancer with strength and courage for over two years. She was born May 23, 1951 to Bill and Ida Jo Cameron in Commerce, Texas. The Camerons later moved to Rockwall, Texas where Suzanne attended Rockwall High School and later she attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Her parents instilled in Suzanne a strong and steadfast faith in the Lord which she successfully passed on to all her children and grandchildren. She was a member of, or attended, several Rockwall churches, including Church on the Rock, Lakepointe Church and Lakeshore Church. Suzanne had a tender heart and open hand and provided sanctuary to several young people in their time of need. She loved life, particularly her children and grandchildren, and loved to travel, especially to the beaches of California or the Caribbean and ski slopes anywhere. Over the years Suzanne and her family have enjoyed a number of vacations to California which has provided them with a lifetime of wonderful memories. A dedicated jogger, she took up scuba diving later in life, which she enjoyed with her husband.
Suzanne is survived by her husband: Dan Mosley; uncle and aunt: Raymond and Elizabeth Cameron; brother and sister-in-law: Don and Becky Cameron; daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Curtis Russell; son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Beth Cameron; grandchildren: Hannah, Zebulun, Sarah and Elianna Russell and Liberty Cameron; nieces: Jenni Thornton, Katie Kaufmann and Emily Wood; nephews: Rob, Jacob and Taylor Cameron; and honorary son: Ryan Sarver. She was preceded in death by her father and mother: Bill and Ida Jo Cameron; son: Justin Kirk Conway; brother: Rex Cameron; and grandson: Jude Cameron.
Funeral services will be held 2:30pm, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

I'm so sorry and saddened to hear of Suzanne's passing.  It has been a while since I spoke to her, but she was always a sweet and enthusiastic person.  I am happy to know that she is with the Lord.  I know she will be greatly missed.

I was so sad to hear of the loss of your mother.  I have such great memories of playing at your house as a child.  Though we have lost touch through the years, please know that I hold a very special place in my heart for you and your family. May the love of those around you help you through the days, months and years ahead.

With love,

Suzanne was a wonderful person.  She had great wisdom and humor.  I never heard her say a bad word about anyone.  She always brightened my day.  My prayers go out to her family and all of her friends.

Even though my cousin, Suzanne, and I ended up in separate states, we always had good times when we saw each other as children (and beyond) at family functions. She was always a wonderful, kind, and loving person -- and fun, too. She is missed by all who ever knew her. We all look forward to seeing her again someday. Love and blessings to all, Edna Lynn

I am proud to have been Suzanne's sister-in-law for over 40 years. She means so much to me. She truly is with Her Lord, free of pain.  If we follow Chirst we will see her again!  I'm missing all the family while here in Kenya.  God bless!

To the Mosley and Cameron Families,

May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18)  He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8)  With deepest sympathy.

As I know he is, may God be with all the family in a time like this. Suzanne was a very special person. I knew her from an Indian Princess Mom thru later years and she was always very special and loved by everyone.
My prayers are with you all.
